Digital Technologies

The digital technologies I would like to use when making my magazine would be Prezi, thinglink, fireworks,I will also use bubble.us,pic monkey,Padlet 

The reason why I would like to use Prezi is because it is a simple way to present ideas if you have a range of them as you can put an image in and write text around it. Prezi is also very simple to use. 

I would use thinglink because you can annotate an image or cover without the text covering up the image you are describing so you can make sure you analyse it correctly.  

Fireworks i would use as it is an editing tool that comes in to use as it can edit the smallest bits and it will be good for putting a masthead together and also to creating a magazine. 
The reason why i would use bubble.us is because it is good when putting ideas together for example when picking a masthead and the design. Pic monkey is good for editing photos and simple to use. Padlet will be good when making a magazine as i can put some sticky notes up and help me remind me of what i need to do.

I have used Prezi to analyse current music mastheads the ones i have picked to analyse are NME, Vibe and billboard the reason why I picked these music magazine mastheads is because they are very different from each other for example the colours they use and font and size.

First Magazine Cover Analysis

This was my first time analysing a cover of a magazine. The key areas i annotated was the master head, anchorage text, cover lines and the main image. I created this on Powerpoint.
